July 2025 edition of the Cosumnes River Walk survey, led by J Rowoth along with B Vega and J Trochet. Very dry overall, but there was nice water west of Franklin (pond 4) and just at the entry gate for the boardwalk trail. Lots of bunnies and a few deer along the trails, and the blackberries were plentiful and sweet. We encountered a troupe of emergency rescue workers training along the trails. The temperatures were very pleasant, with a slight breeze and clear skies; the temperatures started to rise toward the end, but we missed the hot temperatures!
