The May running of the Cosumnes River Preserve’s River Walk Survey, led by Jim Rowoth. Participants: Jane Van Kessel, Luan Nguyen, Chris Magaña, Nancy _?_, later joined by John Trochet and Rondine Mangrum. The morning started chilly but it warmed up nicely as the morning progressed. Hardly any water West of Franklin, so the number of birds was way down. We encountered a few migrants–not as many as hoped.
