Guided Photography Walk

Come discover landscape photography at Cosumnes Preserve. This two-hour photo tour will take participants on the Lost Slough trail east of the visitor center. A primary focus of the walk will be enhancing our “seeing” of the landscape, the shapes and textures of the oaks, grasses, even the poison oak.

The Habitat Restoration Team is an opportunity to gain practical work experience in restoration and land management while helping to advance the Preserve’s goals to provide sustainable habitats for Central Valley plants and wildlife. Workdays are a great way to connect with the local environment and are ideal for individuals seeking service learning hours.
