Cosumnes River Preserve's Activity Schedule

Events, times and locations are subject to change. Individuals do not need to pre-register but advanced notice of your participation is greatly appreciated. Contact the Preserve's information line at (916) 684-2816 or send an e-mail to info@cosumnes.org to give such notice and confirm activity dates and times.

During the Winter & Spring season, weather patterns can change quickly. Most activities will proceed as planned, rain or shine. Please dress in layers and be prepared for wet and slippery conditions.

For workdays, you should bring a lunch and plenty of drinking water, dress for rugged, outdoor work, and be prepared for possible rain. Organized groups or students should send a RSVP to info@cosumnes.org.

All activities are FREE!

Visitor Center Hours
The Visitor Center is normally open on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

August Hours on weekends is 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
September Hours change back to 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sun. 19--Guided Paddle, arrive at 8:30 a.m., meet in the Visitor Parking Area (must provide own gear and PFD)
