Join us for a leisurely paddle up the Cosumnes River and its peaceful sloughs. With this winter’s abundant rains, everything will be budding and beautiful! We’ll likely see forest birds, perhaps an egret or heron, and maybe even a beaver and/or otter. This a great paddle tour for those who have not paddled on the Preserve in the past or are looking to learn about the flora and fauna found in this riparian corridor. Bring your own boat (canoe, kayak, SUP), paddle, and PFD. No experience necessary. Meet at the Cosumnes River Preserve Visitor Center Parking lot at 8:30 a.m. We will depart from the boat dock promptly at 9:00 a.m. We’ll be back at the parking lot around noon.
All participants will need to register through EventBrite, so that we are able to ensure enough guides are available for this activity.
