No foolin’–April 1st will be the perfect time to get out and celebrate spring at the Preserve! We invite you to join us on a stroll along the River Walk. Along the way, we’ll point out new growth and share our knowledge about how the first occupants of the Preserve, the Plains Miwok, used the abundant plant and animal resources that thrive in this unique environment.
We’ll meet at the Visitor Center deck and depart promptly at 9:00 a.m. The trail is unpaved but level, and we will walk about 3 miles at a leisurely pace. Please come prepared with water, closed toed shoes, insect repellant, sunscreen, snacks and binoculars if you have them.
